An RDN’s Career Path

Compass Group has been a huge part of my life both personally and professionally. There are very few companies that can provide RDNs with experiences in not only healthcare and wellness but more broadly in the management of these skills through compliance, education, and leveraging technology to bring all the pieces together to deliver a world-class experience to our clients and customers.

Through all of these phases of my career, I have been fortunate to be able to meet and network with so many talented and smart individuals. (Networking and volunteering have been a huge learning opportunity for me and led to many of my career opportunities!)

Some background on myself. In 2004, I joined Compass Group with Morrison Management Specialists (now Morrison Health Care). In 2008, I transferred to one of our Business & Industry sectors, Eurest. This started my wellness adventure with the B&I.  Over my 8 years with Eurest, I worked in a number of different roles and was delighted to see the growth of RDNs in wellness! After a short leave overseas, I rejoined Compass Group within the Envision Group and now I’m back to a healthcare sector with Morrison Living. This most recent role has me working with our Compass Canada and Compass India teams. The diverse team brings unique perspectives that ultimately lead to the best possible outcome.  I’m proud to be a part of a company that values Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

I’ve always had a passion for helping people live a healthy lifestyle. Studying dietetics provided the opportunity to understand the nutritional aspects of a healthy lifestyle and recently I expanded that knowledge into the physical fitness field by obtaining my personal trainer certification in 2020. I’m looking forward to continuing to expand my knowledge of the wellness industry and leveraging that experience in my career growth with Compass Group.
